Get Outside! Environmental Day Camp at Camp Bethel Ages 5 to 8 From June 12 to June 14, 2013, from 9am to 3pm $80.00 per child
What a better way to celebrate the end of school. Come spend the days exploring the great outdoors as we go hiking, playing, swimming and much more. Each day has a different theme and can include: wonderful water, forest habitats and critters, survival in the woods and orienteering and treasure hunting. Each day includes swimming in our pool and time for lunch.
Bring a swimsuit, lunch, water sunscreen and snacks for your days filled with ?on the go? fun. Camp is held at Camp Bethel with highly trained staff and low camper/staff ratios for a fun and safe three days! Total cost is $80 per camper, with a deposit of $40 and $40 due at first day of camp). This camp does not stop for rain, a water bottle, swim suits and towel, closed-toed shoes that can get wet, raincoat/poncho, snacks to keep them going, change of clothes which can be left at the camp for the week, and a bookbag for carrying supplies when hiking. All items should be labeled with child?s name. Parents must provide transportation to and from camp each day.
Amazement Square Van Trips June 14, July 5, & August 16, 2013 Ages 8 to 13 From 9am to 4pm. Charge $20 per child
Amazement Square is dedicated to motivating children toward greater creativity and understanding of themselves and the world through hands-on learning. The museum?s exhibits and educational programs encourage all participants to explore the arts and humanities, culture, science technology andhow they relate to the world. Your child will climb, slide and discover as they make their way through four floors of exciting interactive exhibits, activities and programs.
Cost of $20 includes lunch (hot dog, cheeseburger or chicken nuggets). Children are welcome to bring snacks with them or, should your child have an allergy, parents are encouraged to send a packed lunch. Departure will be from Botetourt County Parks & Recreation Department.
Junior Golf Camp #1 1 Week Session from June 17, 2013 thru June 21, 2013, from 9am to 12 Noon, Charge: $135, $40 deposit at registration and $95 payable first day of camp, Ages 6 to 17.
Botetourt County and the Golf Academy at Ashley have joined forces to offer summer Junior Golf Camps. Each child will receive 12 hours of professional group instruction by Jeff Sprinkel, Ashley Plantation logo shirt, use of range balls, entry fee and green fee for tournament prizes, free camp group picture, video instruction, PGA Junior Golf Foundation Membership Card, Rules of Golf Booklet, PGA Junior Golf Foundation Certificate, reduced green fees outside camp sessions, free awards cookout and a full agenda of golfing activities. Day Camps at Camp Eagle ? For Lil? Rustlers (Ages 5 to 8) and Wranglers (Ages 9 to 12). Join the relationship that Shenandoah Baptist Church & Botetourt Recreation Department has developed at CAMP EAGLE. This is a fantastic alternative to day care. Camp Eagle is well-supervised by qualified staff.Lunch and snacks are included in the cost. $2 per day snack money is suggested for the canteen store. Call for details.

ACADEMY SOCCER CAMP FOR 5-12 YEAR OLDS ? 2 Sessions: June 24 Thru June 27, 2013 & July 22 Thru July 25, 2013, From 9am TO 12pm At Cloverdale Soccer Field. $40 at time of registration and $40 due at first day of camp. This camp focuses on skill development and teamwork. Players will participate in training drills and a variety of games to build on and improve their soccer skills.
Summer Archery Camp ? July 11, 12 & 13, 2013, Ages: 8 to 13. Location: Central Academy Middle School, Charge: $30
This program will focus on the skills of archery history, safety, technique, equipment, focus and self-improvement. All instructors certified by the Virginia Dept. of Game & Inland Fisheries.
Botetourt Volleyball Camp ? Sunday, July 14 thru Tuesday, July 16, 2013, Grades: 5th to 8th,Cost: $10 T-Shirt included. With instruction from coaching staff at James River and Central Academy, kids will be helped to develop their playing skills. Location: Fincastle Baptist Church
Botetourt Sports Camp ? July 15 thru July 19, 2013, Grades Kindergarten to 5th grades,Location: Limestone Park, Cost: $15. This camp is faith-based and will consist of outdoor fun. Lunch will be provided, however, please have child bring a bathing suit. Registrations will ONLY be taken at Limestone Park and registrations will be made payable to Limestone Park.
Botetourt County Cheerleading Camp ? July 21 thru July 23, 2013, Ages: 6 to 11 years, Location: James River High School, Cost: $10, includes T-Shirt.
Botetourt County Football Camp ? July 21, 22nd 23rd, 2013 at LB High School Practice Field, Ages 6 to 11, Cost: $10.
Botetourt County Soccer Camp ? July 24 thru July 26, 2013 at Greenfield Recreation Park, Ages 6 to 11, Cost: $10

Summer Art Camp at Hilltop Studios July 15 to 19, 2013, from 9am to 12 Noon Cost: $155, with a deposit of $50 due at registration and the remainder due at the first day of camp. Class repeats on August 5 to August 9, 2013.
